The Performance Awards Competition returns to South Africa in 2026 — and this year, Hilton takes center stage! Join us on March 28, 2026, for a day of dance, inspiration, and recognition as young dancers from across KwaZulu-Natal come together to perform with passion, confidence, and joy.

The most outstanding dancer at the Hilton event will receive:
🎖️ Two weeks of FREE tuition and accommodation at the AAB Summer School of Excellence in New York
💰 PLUS R10,000 toward airfare to New York!

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to train at one of the world’s most respected ballet programs — surrounded by international faculty, ten beautiful studios, and dancers from more than 25 countries.

 Who Can Enter & What is Required


  • Eligibility: Any dancer from a studio, school, or teacher that has presented Performance Awards in the last 2 years.
  • New Teachers: Still eligible by presenting Performance Awards at their school.
  • Level Selection: The dancer and teacher may decide the most appropriate level for entry.
  • Performance Requirement: Each dancer must perform the solo variation from the level they select.
  • Note: The schedule is subject to change depending on the number of entries per level.


 3–4 dancers from each level will be selected to perform in the Finals on 15 November. Levels 11 & 12 advance directly to the Finals.
